Fabrication and Erection of MS/GI Structure and Cable Tray

Fabrication and Erection Services

Design and Engineering:

    • Develop detailed engineering drawings and designs for the MS/GI structures and cable trays, considering factors such as load-bearing capacity, environmental conditions, and installation requirements.
    • Determine the material specifications, dimensions, and configurations based on the intended application and relevant industry standards.

Material Procurement:

    • Source high-quality MS/GI materials, including beams, channels, angles, plates, and cables, from reputable suppliers.
    • Ensure compliance with material specifications, standards, and project requirements.

Fabrication:

    • Utilize modern fabrication techniques and equipment to cut, bend, weld, and assemble the MS/GI materials into the desired structures and cable tray components.
    • Follow approved fabrication procedures and quality control measures to ensure accuracy, precision, and structural integrity.

Surface Treatment:

    • Apply surface treatment processes such as shot blasting, sandblasting, or chemical cleaning to prepare the MS/GI surfaces for coating.
    • Apply protective coatings such as primer, paint, or galvanizing to enhance corrosion resistance and durability.

Transportation and Handling:

    • Arrange for the transportation of fabricated MS/GI structures and cable tray components to the installation site using suitable vehicles and handling equipment.
    • Ensure safe handling, lifting, and unloading practices to prevent damage during transit.

Erection Services

Site Preparation:

    • Prepare the installation site for the erection of MS/GI structures and cable trays, ensuring adequate space, access, and safety measures are in place.
    • Coordinate with other trades and contractors to facilitate seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

Assembly and Installation:

    • Assemble fabricated MS/GI components and sections according to the erection drawings and plans.
    • Utilize cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment to lift and position heavy structures and cable tray sections safely and accurately.

Alignment and Leveling:

    • Ensure proper alignment, levelness, and orientation of MS/GI structures and cable trays during installation to meet design requirements and aesthetic standards.
    • Use precision leveling tools and techniques to achieve the desired installation tolerances.

Fixing and Fastening:

    • Securely anchor MS/GI structures and cable trays to the building structure or support framework using appropriate fasteners, anchors, and brackets.
    • Ensure proper spacing, clearance, and support to accommodate cable routing and maintain structural integrity.

Integration and Testing:

    • Integrate MS/GI structures and cable trays with other building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC components.
    • Conduct functional tests and inspections to verify the proper installation and alignment of cable trays and to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Documentation and Handover:

    • Document the erection process with photographs, as-built drawings, and installation records.
    • Conduct a final inspection and acceptance procedure to confirm that the erection meets the client’s requirements and regulatory standards.
    • Provide training to maintenance personnel on the operation, maintenance, and inspection of MS/GI structures and cable trays.
